EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT SERVICES
ISSO's Employment Support Services assist clients to develop and follow through with a realistic employment plan. Through an in-depth assessment process Employment Support Staff work with clients to develop a plan which considers current skill sets and experience, additional training needs and other employment supports that will facilitate successful employment. Through our Employment Support Services, clients may also access skills training supports and other grant programs.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
- Employment and career assessment and counselling
- Employment planning and preparation
- Applications for skills training, small business and apprenticeship programs
- Referral to other appropriate programs and services
- Registration into On-Line Services workshops and courses of interest
- Case management and ongoing support through Job Search, Job Placement and Job Retention Services.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Services are available to all unemployed and under employed individuals residing in Canada, who are legally eligible to work, meet a minimum of suitability criteria and are serious about their job search.
